We are pleased to announce Melissa Ryczek has joined AOM at our Rochester location.
Melissa joined AOM in January as our Senior Project Manager/Member of Technical Staff.
She comes to us from L3Harris/Kodak with over 26 years of experience in Optical Manufacturing covering all aspects from grinding and polishing to metrology as well as managing projects and personnel.
During her tenure at L3Harris she worked on optical components and optical system assemblies for such programs as the SALT (South African Large Telescope), the Vera C Rubin telescope, and most recently she managed several teams totaling 70+ engineers and manufacturing technicians on NASA’s Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope. She has her A.A.S. degree in Optical Systems Technology from Monroe Community College.
