We’re pleased to announce that Aaron Clark, Opto-Mechanical Engineer, has joined AOM. Aaron comes to AOM with more than 10 years’ experience developing opto-mechanical solutions for optical systems, most recently with Soter Technology and L3Harris.
His experience includes:
- Design of the opto-mechanical assemblies to support the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) cryogenic testing.
- Design, build, and assembly of over a hundred custom optical mounts and fixtures for a range of mission hardware and testing support.
- More than 10 years’ experience in the assembly and automation industry.
The new Opto-Mechanical Engineer position is based in AOM’s Rochester, NY office and will help strengthen our metrology systems engineering and design capacity, and grow our east-coast support base.
